I.C.Y.M

The main role of ICYM (Indian Catholic Youth Movement) in the Church is to:

ICYM has been guided by its motto "To Lead, To Serve, To Shine" and remains committed to empowering young Catholics in India.

1. Evangelize and spread the Gospel among young people.

2. Empower and equip youth to become active and responsible members of the Church.

3. Provide a platform for youth to express their faith, ideas, and concerns.

4. Foster spiritual growth, leadership, and character development among young people.

5. Promote vocations and support youth in their discernment process.

6. Encourage active participation in Church activities, liturgy, and sacraments.

7. Build a sense of community and belonging among Catholic youth.

8. Address social issues and promote social justice, peace, and harmony.

9. Support and collaborate with Church authorities, clergy, and other Catholic organizations.

10. Help shape the future of the Church by nurturing and mentoring young leaders.

By fulfilling these roles, ICYM aims to be a vibrant and dynamic presence within the Church, inspiring young people to become faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
