Catholic Sabha - Ukkinadka Unit

Catholic Sabha was started on April 29,1979, under the guidance and support of the Bishop. The motive of this association is – Serve, Sacrifice, Unite. This association is now registered under “All India Catholic Union”.

Its main aim and responsibilities include:

1. Promoting Catholic values and teachings among its members and the community.

2. Supporting the Diocese of Mangalore in its pastoral activities.

3. Engaging in social, educational, and charitable works that benefit the community, especially the underprivileged.

4. Fostering unity and solidarity among Catholics in Mangalore.

5. Encouraging active participation in parish life and church activities.

6. Providing a platform for Catholic laypeople to come together, share ideas, and work collaboratively.

7. Organizing spiritual, cultural, and social events that promote Catholic heritage and values.

8. Supporting Catholic education and youth development initiatives.

9. Collaborating with other organizations to promote the common good and human development.

10. Being a voice for the Catholic community in Mangalore on social and civic issues.

Catholic Sabha Ukkinadka Unit is an association of the laity, and we work hard for the betterment of the society and our parish.
